- Features
- Cross Peen for Tight Spaces: This hammer features a cross peen instead of a regular claw. The cross peen is a narrow chisel-like head ideal for reaching into tight corners and behind moldings. This makes it perfect for tasks like caulking and delicate finishing work.
- Drop-Forged Steel Head for Strength: The head of this hammer is drop-forged from high-carbon steel. This forging process creates a strong and dense head that can withstand repeated strikes without deforming. The heat treatment further enhances durability.
- Hickory Handle for Shock Absorption: The Martin 153G hammer comes with a hickory handle. Hickory is a popular choice for hammer handles due to its exceptional shock absorption properties. This helps reduce vibration and fatigue during use, allowing for more comfortable and controlled swings.
